Fully qualified crew on board, you can help sail the yacht - no experience required - or just sit back, relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Maximum of 10 passengers on board.
Morning, afternoon and evening trips all $120 per person (children 8-16 $70) - free CBD pick-up for groups of 5 to 9 passengers.

The Experience
Sailing around Port Phillip Bay is a fantastic way to trial sailing. This three hour experience offers you the option to sit back, relax and watch the scenery change or you can get involved and help the crew sail our luxury yacht.
Your experience begins Boatman's Landing, Waterfront City in Melbourne's Dockland area, where you'll be met by your crew for the day and board the yacht, Veeword.
Once on board, you will receive a safety briefing and be shown round the yacht. Our deck hand will cast off and you will begin a 35 minute trip down the Yarra River to Port Philip Bay. During this time, you'll be given the opportunity to steer the boat and the Skipper will point out the places of interest along the river and answer any sailing related questions you might have.
Once in the Bay, the crew will raise the sails and switch off the engine. At this point, you will have your first taste of real sailing - the silence, the gentle glide of the yacht through the water and wonderful views of Melbourne from the water. You will even have an opportunity to take the helm and to assist with the sail changes as required. Alternatively you can just relax and enjoy the sailing experience whilst taking in the views and the fresh sea air.
We sail for approximately 2hrs (90 minutes on evening trips) before returning to the Yarra River for the return trip.
As the yacht makes it's way back to Docklands, all onboard will recieve a complimentary glass of champagne and will have plenty of time for taking photographs of the city. During your sailing adventure, you're more than welcome to chat to our friendly crew about learning to sail, joining a yacht club or even buying your own boat.
Once back at Waterfront City you will disembark and have a number of restaurants to choose from for a nice lunch or dinner.
